A sequel to the 2019 hit War, the film picks up the story of Agent Kabir, played by Hrithik Roshan. It adds another exciting chapter to the growing YRF Spy Universe. This time, the action intensifies as Jr NTR enters the franchise in a bold new role, setting up a fierce showdown.
War 2 hits theatres on Independence Day and will release in five major Indian languages—Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. It aims to deliver a truly pan-Indian cinematic experience.
Industry sources suggest that Jr NTR’s character will play a major role not just in this film, but across future projects. YRF reportedly plans standalone films for his character, putting him alongside Spy Universe icons like Tiger and Pathaan.
